映像やアニメーションなどの動画において、1秒間に何枚のフレームを使用するかを表す数値。単位としては、「fps（frames per Second）」を使用する。1秒間のフレーム枚数が多いほど動画はスムーズになる。一般的に、アニメや映画は24fps、テレビ放送は29.97fpsで作られている。
